Frenchtown Friendship Club
The Frenchtown Friendship Club is an Adult Day Services program. We offer professional supervision as well as planned activities for the elderly with cognitive impairment. Our goal is to provide a positive, happy environment where the elderly can feel needed and useful. While the Frenchtown Friendship Club is not meant to be a substitute for the family or caregiver, it works to supplement the care received at home while giving the family or caregiver a relief for work, errands, or respite care knowing their loved one is well cared for in a professional run, well planned and supervised environment.
Purpose of Adult Day Services
Reduce the isolation of frail older persons by offering a safe, support group environment. Maintaining the person's highest level of functioning, and preventing further decline. Restoring a person's level of functioning to his/her highest level. Foster socialization and peer interaction. Support family caregivers with respite, education, support, and other related assistance.
