Volunteers
Volunteers are very important for the success of the
Center. Several people of all ages volunteer their
time and talent. A majority of the volunteers are
registered with the RSVP program of Monroe County.
RSVP volunteers earn a meal allowance and mileage while
they volunteer their time. Volunteers help in a
variety of ways.
Just a few of the many services volunteers
provide are:
| Host / Hostess to greet members and
guests and to sell tickets for special
events, raffles, and 50/50 drawings.
|
|
 |
| Assembly of the monthly newsletter,
the Frenchtown Senior Link, which has a
mailing list of over 1,000.
|
|
 |
| Special events and fundraisers such
as dances, dinners, card parties, and
rummage sales.

The Center would like to thank all of our volunteers
for their generosity and the caring and giving they have
shown us over the past years.
Anyone interested in volunteering at the Center,
please feel free to contact Florence Smith,
Volunteer/Travel Coordinator at (734) 243-6210.
Remember "No act of giving, no matter how small, is
ever wasted."
